- Mr Peter Callan, MBBS, FRACS, MBA

As a fully qualified plastic surgeon since 1993, Mr Callan has achieved the highest standards in surgical training and has a wealth of experience. After completing plastic surgery training in Australia, he did further training in Scotland, England, Canada and the United States. His further training in these areas included skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery and head and neck surgery. All surgery is performed by Mr Callan and he directs all aspects of Peter Callan Plastic Surgeon.
Mr Callan is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the only body which is authorised to recognise surgeons in Australia, and he is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Australia’s peak body in plastic and cosmetic surgery. He is a member of advisory boards to the AMA, the Federal Government and Allergan® Australia. Mr Callan is director of a private hospital in Melbourne and a lecturer for the Medical School of the University of Melbourne where he helps to train Australia’s future plastic surgeons. He is also a director of Pamper Medical Skin Care Clinic in Geelong.

Simone is a qualified nurse and runs all aspects of patient care at Peter Callan Plastic Surgeon. She has many years of experience in plastic surgery nursing and management and has achieved a certificate in breast care nursing. Simone is a wonderful ambassador for the practice and a caring and compassionate individual. She will be happy to answer all of your questions and will help make your experience as stress free as possible.

Matt is the office manager and often will be your first port of call. Matt organises appointments and attends to all other administrative duties. He has been working for Mr Callan for years. He will direct your enquiries to one of our highly trained nursing staff if medical input is required. Matt keeps us all smiling and is extremely meticulous in his work.

Nicole is also a registered nurse who has worked at Peter Callan Plastic Surgeon for a number of years, gaining experience in all aspects of plastic surgery. Nicole is a highly professional and caring individual and will make your experience as smooth and stress free as possible.
- Lisa Henderson, RN

Lisa is a registered nurse with a background in maternal care. She cares for some of our cosmetic and skin patients and has gained much experience in these areas during her many years at Peter Callan Plastic Surgeon.

Louise is the newest member of the team and assists Matt on reception and other administrative duties. She will be happy to answer any of your questions and direct medical questions to one of our nursing staff.

Jo is our newest team member, and very welcome addition, to Team Callan who works part-time assisting with our skin patients.
Jo brings with her many years clinical experience and will ensure you are attended to in a professional and caring way.
