Skin care

Skin care is extremely important and there are many techniques available:

  • Prevention:
Sun exposure and smoking are extremely important to avoid if you want good skin.
  • Treat existing skin conditions:
There are many good treatments for acne and some other skin conditions and we will direct you on this.
  • Skin treatments:
Use good active cosmetics and don't waste money on expensive rubbish that claims miracles. We only use the best and will teach you how to use them.
  • Peels:
Chemical peels are still a mainstay of treatment and help fine wrinkles and blemishes. Peels can be fine (so-called lunchtime peel), or deeper (take a few days to recover)
  • Wrinkles:
These can be treated in a number of ways. Dynamic wrinkles (those that only occur when you animate) are best treated with wrinkle reduction injections. Static wrinkles can be filled with injectable dermal fillers. Find out more on www.wrinkles.com.au. Other treatments include peels and laser.
  • Laser and IPL:
Light treatment to skin does several things. IPL is a broader spectrum light that can target blemishes, reddened areas and some fine blood vessels. It also helps rejuvenate and firm the skin, and smooth out fine wrinkles. Laser is a single wavelength of light and can specifically target red blood vessels, veins and spots.

Guidance from an experienced team is essential and we can help you achieve your best skin quality and appearance.
