Hand injuries

Hand injuries are extremely common in domestic, sporting and industrial settings and Mr Callan repairs hundreds a year. In the domestic setting glass and knife injuries are common and often involve deeper structures that need repair, such as tendons and nerves. Sporting injuries usually involve dislocations of the fingers, fractures or tendon avulsions (pulling tendons off the bone). Industrial injuries can be simple to very extensive. As Mr Callan is a hand surgeon (part of plastic surgery and orthopaedic surgery), he is very experienced at such injuries and can help give you the best possible result together with his hand therapist, Jane Skeen.
